CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA – (April 19, 2006) - Eucalypt Software Partners,
an Australian software developer and DataMirror DataWorld Partner, today
announced the next release of their interface development methodology - The
Right Approach 2.1.0 (TRA 2.1). The highlight of the release is the
addition of a maintenance phase to the methodology that allows developers to
comprehensively document and track the changes being made to their
production interfaces.

The Right Approach Methodology
The Right Approach six phase methodology encompasses the
complete life cycle of Enterprise
Application Integration (EAI) projects from planning through to deployment,
and including maintenance. The Right Approach is delivered with Microsoft Word
and Excel templates that are aligned to key
project deliverables and designed specifically to capture the necessary
information for each step in an integration project. Each template has a
context sensitive menu system which provides access to macros for rapid
population of preformatted content, the TRAVerse Engine and Explanatory
Notes.
The TRAVerse Engine
The TRAVerse Engine has two components, the Forward Engine and the Reverse
Engine which are accessible through macros incorporated into the TRA design
templates. The Forward Engine can produce a set of Constellar Hub metadata
export files from TRA-Design documents thereby removing the need to re-key
information and bypass the manual creation of the integration components. The Reverse Engine can produce a set of TRA-Design documents from a
Constellar Hub metadata export file providing the ability to initially
document a set of Constellar Hub interfaces or to achieve synchronisation at
the end of a maintenance cycle.
